Historical Charm and Really good Service!

The location near São Jorge Castle is superb. Staff assisted with information about the city. I really liked the golf cart service when climbing back up the hill. Breakfast offered great variety and quality.

Charming Stay Amidst History

roaming peacocks attentive staff complimentary port

I enjoyed the peacocks roaming the grounds. It was quite a sight! the staff were all so attentive. i was also pleased to find a complimentary bottle of port in my room. A very thoughtful touch.

the steep hill leading to the hotel was quite challenging. taxis sometimes refused to drive all the way up. it would be useful to have clearer guidance on transport options for those with mobility issues

The hotel provided complimentary wine and champagne daily! the staff was very accommodating, they were always friendly and ready to help. the location near the castle was a highlight. It offered easy access to historical sites.

the walk up to the hotel was a bit challenging due to the steepness of the hill.
