Historical Charm and Really good Service!
golf cart great breakfast
The location near São Jorge Castle is superb. Staff assisted with information about the city. I really liked the golf cart service when climbing back up the hill. Breakfast offered great variety and quality.

My room reminded me of a suite with high ceilings! The wardrobe was located outside the bedroom. A separate bathroom offered extra convenience.

The hotel is right in the historical area near São Jorge Castle. There is a lovely courtyard that offers quietness. The terrace has LOTS of peacocks to entertain the guests.

Breakfast is provided until noon, offering a great selection. Tea, coffee, and pastries are available all day included in the price. Complimentary prosecco is served after 6 p.m..

Charming Stay Amidst History
roaming peacocks attentive staff complimentary port
I enjoyed the peacocks roaming the grounds. It was quite a sight! the staff were all so attentive. i was also pleased to find a complimentary bottle of port in my room. A very thoughtful touch.
the steep hill leading to the hotel was quite challenging. taxis sometimes refused to drive all the way up. it would be useful to have clearer guidance on transport options for those with mobility issues

the room offered plenty of storage. the air conditioning worked very well. bedding was good. the room was also very quiet.

breakfast took place in a pleasant courtyard. there was a good selection on offer there! i was able to leave my luggage after checking out. i could return to use the facilities!

The staff provided free coffee and cakes in the afternoon. it was nice. free sparkling wine was available in the evenings. I found this detail lovely. The airport transfer was on time.

complimentary wine friendly staff historical location
The hotel provided complimentary wine and champagne daily! the staff was very accommodating, they were always friendly and ready to help. the location near the castle was a highlight. It offered easy access to historical sites.
the walk up to the hotel was a bit challenging due to the steepness of the hill.
